Guru

Guru are a new cloud hosting company offering flexible solutions that are easy to understand. This project was a blank canvas so we could have some real fun with it.

There are some really nice responsive elements on this site, such as switching from a slider interface to a tabbed interface on the Managed by Guru page at smaller resolutions.

Powering Kindness

We worked closely with Tequila Ireland on Electric Ireland's Powering Kindness. This is an annual campaign where visitors submit good deeds to raise money for charity (Special Olympics Ireland, Childline and Breakthrough Cancer Research).

Along with the responsive site we built a system to pull in deeds from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SMS and on-site form submissions, collating and tracking each charities progress in real-time.

What
we do

Web Design
& Development

Design is more than pretty graphics.

The aesthetics of your site are important but it's only part of the whole story. When we design a website, we’re also concerned with:

Accessibility — your site should be available to as many people as possible.

Usability — if your site is difficult to figure out, people will go elsewhere.

Your message — what is the focus of your site? If the core message isn't conveyed, the design doesn't matter.

We specialise in front-end development: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

We write clean, standards-based code that's optimised to ensure your website loads as quickly as possible.

We write our code in such as way that future expansion and modification of your site is a straightforward process.

We test everything we build across all the major browsers on both desktop and mobile devices.

Responsive
Experiences

In recent years the concept of Responsive Web Design has revolutionised how we approach building websites and web applications — and for good reason.

By the end of 2013, more people will be browsing the web on mobile devices than desktop computers*. Websites aren't confined to a single device any more and need to adapt accordingly. We specialise in building responsive experiences for the visitors of your site ensuring that your content is always working its hardest for you.

* as predicted by the Morgan Stanley report.

Content
Management

We offer content management integration to allow you to easily maintain and update your website.

We will advise you on the best system for your particular needs. We have extensive experience with systems such as:

Hosting

We enjoy expanding our horizons and taking on new challenges.

Variety is the spice of life as they say and one of the things we love about the web industry is that it’s varied.

We pride ourselves on being good with people and we have the pleasure of working with clients and other creative professionals from all around the world.

We approach every project as a team effort and our clients are part of that team.

There’s a lot we can do in-house but on the occasions when a particular style of design, or skill-set is required, we have an excellent network of individuals and agencies we can work with. This ensures that every aspect of a project is completed to the highest standard.

Havoc Inspired began life in 2008 as the sole-trading name for Ryan Taylor.

In 2012 we incorporated into a limited company and have steadily grown since. We’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients and collaborating with some of the most talented people in the industry.

It’s heartening to see the company move from strength to strength and we’re excited about what the future holds.
